From 2000, Hilvert Wijnholds became more and more involved in the work in North-eastern Congo at the invitation of Ernie Barnes (USA) and many local brothers.
There are nine Bible Centres in North-eastern Congo:
- Bunia
- Mambasa/Mputu
- Mayuano
- Biakato
- Beni
- Butembo
- Goma
- Minova
- Kitshanga
In these cities and several villages, brothers and sisters gather together to the name of the Lord Jesus. In Mputu a Bible Conference Centre (BCC) was built from 2007–2017 for Bible conferences, family conferences, systematic Bible studies and youth camps (see the blog of the Mputu project).
