Many brothers and especially sisters never have had the opportunity to learn how to read and write. Among them are also many children from poor families in remote areas, often suffering from tribal and civil wars, through which schools cannot function. Some brothers in East Africa already started with regular courses in reading and writing and also some other subjects. Again and again it is a joy to see the good results of this work: the brethren and children concerned can read the Bible and provide for their livelihood in a better way.

Your contribution

The brothers who give these courses do this next to their normal work through whcich do not have sufficient time to work their fields. That is why they receive some financial compensation with which they can hire someone to work their fields for them.
They also need strong motor bikes for visiting the remote villages where roads often are in a very bad condition.
The pupils need pens, notebooks and learning materials. They also need blackboards.

• Donations for a strong motor bike (about € 2,500 in this part of Africa)
• A monthly contribution of € 15,00 per child which would cover the costs of regular education
• Prayer for blessing on this work: turning to God, believing the Lord Jesus and edification and strenghtening of their faith
